Shipping & Returns

Where we ship from

All orders ship from our fulfillment facility in Loveland, Colorado. Orders typically ship within 1–2 business days via UPS or USPS depending on size and weight.

Where we ship to

We ship to all 50 U.S. states. Some restrictions apply to certain knives and OTF automatic blades — see below.

Shipping rates

Standard ground: Free on orders over $100. $9.95 flat rate under $100.
Expedited: Rates calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
Overnight: Available on most products. Rates calculated at checkout.

Sales tax

We collect Colorado sales tax on orders shipping to addresses within Colorado. No sales tax is collected on orders shipping to other states.

Knife shipping restrictions

We ship knives to every state and city where it's legal to do so. A handful of jurisdictions restrict certain blade types or lengths — notably some cities in California, Massachusetts, and a few others restrict out-the-front (OTF) automatic knives. If something in your order can't legally ship to your address, we'll contact you before processing and either swap it out or refund that line. We don't sit on your money.

Returns

30 days from delivery, on unused product in original packaging. Specifics:

Knives: Must be unsharpened and unused.
Sunglasses: Must be in original case with all paperwork.
Holsters and leather: Must not be broken in or molded.
Optics and tactical gear: Must be in original packaging with all accessories.

We cover return shipping if the issue is on us — wrong item, defect, damage in transit. You cover return shipping if you changed your mind.

How to start a return

Email hello@tacticalcowboy.com with your order number and we'll send you a return label and instructions. Returns process within 5–7 business days of receiving the package back at our facility.

Do not ship returns without emailing us first. Returns received without prior contact may be delayed in processing.

Manufacturer defects

Many products carry lifetime manufacturer warranties (Benchmade LifeSharp, Ridge lifetime warranty, etc.). If you've used a product and it fails, contact us and we'll work with the manufacturer on your behalf to resolve it at no cost to you.
